Right now I’m reading a great book that may provide a glimmer of hope: Hans Fallada’s “Every man dies alone.” This is not a spoiler alert, but our resistance may need to go back to paper and pencil. This book is a fascinating page turner based on truth—I highly recommend it.
A refreshing essay. I would think we're already in technological feudalism. Whether or not feudalism is fascist or fascism is feudalism, the important thing to note is historical junctures, in which the modern period is ending. And what comes next is still emerging.
